Proofly. is me, Alison Warren. With a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Communications and PR behind me, I love words and language and getting them both right.
Over the years, I’ve proofread life stories, university essays and theses, formal letters, websites... the list goes on. I do it because I love doing it and I’m good at it.
Let me help you improve your writing and help what you want to say shine through.
I’m not an expert in the subject matter – that’s you – but I can make sure your readers aren’t distracted by typographical errors or poor grammar and punctuation.

Services
I provide proofreading services.
That means I will read your document, however short or long, from start to finish and will correct any errors I see in grammar, punctuation and vocabulary.
I may also suggest changes to syntax or sentence structure if they will enhance the meaning.
For shorter documents I also provide writing services – tell me what you want to say and I’ll say it for you.

Nothing complicated here.
I charge $45 an hour or 3.5 cents per word. Your choice. Urgent work may be charged at a higher rate.
If you’re worried about how long I will take to proofread your work for you, get in touch with a sample of your writing and I’ll give you an estimate.
The length of time taken will depend, among other things, on the quality of the written English.
